DON'T BE SCARED!

Horror Movies are a staple around Halloween, there is just something about sitting around on a cool, crisp Fall night with a big bowl of popcorn, the lights dimmed and then being so scared you actually throw your popcorn in the air!

Night of the Living Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Rosemary's Baby, Bride of Frankenstein, Halloween, and of course The Shining. Who can forget the first time you saw any of these movies, and how scared you where?

YESTERDAY......

It seems just like yesterday I was holding my newborn first grandchild. I have blinked and now this Monday August 27th, she starts Pre-K! I have no idea where the time has gone! I have 3 beautiful grandchildren, all girls, but Natalie Jo or "Boo" as she is known to me, well we have a special bond. I delivered her! She wasn't waiting for the nurse to go get the doctor, so when they came back in I was holding my grandchild! The most awesome experience of my life!

I always heard you never know true love until you become a grandparent, well let me tell you they are right! My blog today is a collage of memories of Miss Natalie Jo, Boo I love you so very much and I cannot believe it is time for you to go marching off to school!

Hot - Hot- Hot!

It is a hot start to August! 106 degrees here in Texas today, I thought we were going to get by with a pretty "mild" summer after last year's record breaking heat. But it appears we are in a little heatwave right now. However it is Texas, it is August, so we should expect this I guess.

Something else that is "Hot" is happening over at Bags By Hags I am going to be doing some re-structuring of my shop before we head into the busy Holiday Season, which means great deals for you! Give Me Lemons - I Count My Blessings!

On this road we call life everyone of us at some point rounds that corner and hits the spot where life starts to chunk lemons at us. You want to scream ENOUGH, or just give up. I find my self in that very spot of the road these days but no amount of lemons will shake my Faith, because I know the Good Lord will get me past this spot in the road. So life I am going to chunk a few lemons right back at you and count my blessings!

I have God on my side who so loved me that he gave his only son so that I may have everlasting life!
I have a wonderful loving family
I have a nice cool home in this terrible heat we are having
I have food in my cabinet
My best friend is my Sister that is a double blessing!
I am able to care for my Mother and spend time with her in her golden years.
I have awesome friends from Handmade Circle
I am blessed and proud to be the Head Hag of Bags By Hags

Laughter is Good for the Soul......

Trying to build a successful business is a serious matter, it's hard work and we are all just trying our hardest to be a success. Handmade Circle Team has been working very hard on our Christmas In July sale, but I find it very important that we should all take the time to enjoy some laughter each day.

This month we have held a weekly trivia contest, with the winner being the featured artist on our FA-LA-LA Friday Blog. Today as I was checking the answers to announce our winner later this afternoon, I got the best laugh I have had all week. I am going to share and hope you get a good chuckle as well!
