It's Friday Baby!

Welcome to our Friday Blog Post!  Friday is a great day, everyone is excited that the hard work week is over and they are looking forward to a fun filled weekend.  We are excited it's Friday because it means it is time for the Handmade Circle  Shop Of The Week!

Lets take a look at some of the great handmade items in her shop.

Purple Monkeys Fitted Diaper

Hippie Chic Patchwork Bib

Now let's meet Ashley, the creative genius and hardworking mother behind these great products!

How it Began

After my first son's birth (Brenan - aka Brenny), I found myself as a brand new stay at home mom. When my son was a few months old, I decided to make bibs for him because he was constantly lifting his bibs to his face and smashing the food all over. I couldn't find any bibs that also had waist closures so I decided to make my own. The store bought bibs just weren't cutting it when it came to keeping him clean. I now make regular bibs and waist tie bibs for him as well as others. I also dove head first into the world of handmade baby items and learned that I have a passion for all things fabric, handmade, and created with thoughts of lovely wee ones in mind.

With the arrival of our second son (Nevan - namesake of our new line Nevan's Nappies), I have decided to expand our line of products to include nursing pads as well as cloth diapers and all their accessories - wipes, inserts, covers, etc.

It is important to us that our items be functional and affordable.

We hope you will visit Brenny's Bibbies she really has great products! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend from Handmade Circle and Bags By Hags!

Time

Time is of the essence.
Time is short.
Time heals all wounds.

Everyone talks about time, I don't have time, there isn't enough time in the day.  We all know that our time here on Earth is short and for some it is much shorter than others.  How do you "Spend" your time?  Do you spread love, joy, and warmth? Do you avoid the negative in the world and surround yourself with positive people and try to be a positive force yourself?

I learned a valuable lesson from my rose, ( I posted this picture a few days ago and this was the only rose on the bush)

Today look at my roses.

You may be asking what does this have to do with time, and what kind of lesson can it teach?
The first rose bloomed and waited, it never criticized the other roses or judged the other roses on their decision on how or when they would bloom.  Yet she was a positive influence by bringing beauty into this world and encouraging the other roses to bloom.

My point is if you let your own beauty bloom you encourage the people on your own rose bush to bloom as well.

God never ceases to amaze me in the tools he uses to teach me things.......

Into Everyone's Life a Little Rain Must Fall.

We all like things to go smooth as silk, but we all know that into everyone's life a little rain must fall.

Sometimes this rain feels like a downpour and you think you may drown, but when the sun shines again (and it will) you find that you have grown and become a stronger person because of it.  For without the rain, the Rose would not bloom.

I have Faith that God is not finished with me yet, and just like the rose in my flowerbed I will bloom after the rain!
